![]() ![]() ![]() I also didn't get a clear answer from them whether this is normal or not. I have contacted XLN Audio about this, but they didn't have a working solution. I would like to hear if anyone else has this issue? With SSDs this sort of thing is hard or impossible to notice, so one should use a program like Process Monitor to see if this is happening. If I would be using a HDD instead of SSD, this would kill my hard drive pretty quickly. So to have this kind of constant activity - even when the computer is idle - is not normal. I like to know what my computer is doing "under the hood", and usually it's not doing anything. If I delete the "boost_interprocess" folder, it gets created again the next time I open AD2. ![]() It's not a Reaper issue, because this also happens when I open AD2 by itself.ĭuring installation I chose not to install cloud sync, and unticked "allow gathering of usage information" in the XLN Audio online installer. Path: C:\ProgramData\boost_interprocess\XLN Audio_XLN Cloud Sync_outĪs you can see, it keeps doing the same query several times in a second, even when my computer is idle. I used Process Monitor -program to see what is going on, here is the information: When I open AD2 (demo version) as a stand alone instrument or as a VST in Reaper, I start to get constant file system activity on my computer. ![]()
